Dates to Remember:

• Opening Date for Online Application – 31st May,2014 .
• Closing Date for Online Application  –  30th June,2014 (Midnight) Candidates are advised to apply in time to avoid last minute rush on the UPSC Server and get disappointed.
• Date of Preliminary Examination :    –  24th August, 2014.
• Candidates can download e-Admission Certificate from the UPSC website at www.upsc.gov.in . E-Admission Certificates will be issued to all eligible candidates immediately before 3 weeks of date of Preliminary Examination on 24th August,2014. ( No Physical Admission Certificates will be issued or sent by Post).

How to Apply Online:

Keep the following documents ready to fill in the online application form and apply online:

1. Cash Deposit Receipt with SBI – Application Fess of Rs.100/- for candidates other than SC/ST/Female/Physically Handicapped – who are exempted from the application fees.
2. Application Fees can also be paid online through internet banking State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or through any Visa/Master Credit/ Debit Card.
3. Keep your scanned photograph in jpg format (not less than 3 Kb) and Signatures also in jpg format – 1 Kb size.
4. Apply only at official site of UPSC at http://www.upsconline.nic.in

Age Requirement:

Candidates must have born between 02nd August, 1982 and 01st August,1993 that is age between 21 and 32 years as on 01st August, 2014. Age relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST and candidates who lived in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during 1st August, 1980 to 31st December, 1989. 3 years age relaxation for OBC Category of candidates.
