In God’s creation of this beautiful earth, there are lots of plants that grow in the wilderness of nature. In the midst of the plants that grow in fields, forests and grazing lands by the countryside are a huge number of herbs that have amazing medicinal value. In this natural green pharmacy of nature given to us by the almighty God, we can easily find remedies and solutions to almost all illnesses that we are facing today.

Remedies for common cold and cough, diseases of the heart and nervous system, stimulating the healing process of various types of wounds and ulcers, and treating the skin diseases are all easily available in the form of herbs. Many of them are used as a hemostatic to improve appetite and normalize the stomach, liver, kidney, heart and blood vessels. The healing properties of these herbs or medicinal plants depend on the active ingredients, which are synthesized by the plants from inorganic substances in soil, water, carbon dioxide and air, under the influence of light energy.

These active natural substances are produced during the life of plants and build up over time. They are chemical compounds that have the animal organism-specific physiological and pharmacological effects that can restore and normalize the patient or the disease process. The healing power of plants has been known to mankind since ancient times. In folk medicine, herbal medicine has been and remains the main line of treatment.

The rise of pollution of the biosphere due to industrialization and modernization in the past several years, frequent use of antibiotics and chemical synthesis of drugs have all led to an increase in allergic diseases and medical complications not seen up till now. This has reduced the human immune system drastically. No doubt, all these factors contribute to the increasing interest in the use of herbs in medical practice. Day by day, the uses of herbal medicines are felt more and more important in treatment.

It is because of the fact that the biologically active substances are complex chemical structures. The production of these is costly and time-consuming whereas the substances from plants stand out easily. Drugs created from plant materials do not have any side effects including allergic reactions that are seen very common today. Science can not only expand the range applied to medicinal plants but can also put into practice the health of all new species.
