For any individual, who relies on Net Banking transactions, it a matter of concern that the Bank’s website is genuine or not. Though most of the Banks have installed Tools and Procedures like:
- Image and Phrase selection of your choice.
- OTP – one time Password.
- Registration of third party payee within the Bank, NEFT and RTGS and confirmation thereof through OTP.
Yet the users of internet need to have basic knowledge to know about the security concepts of websites which can be checked with slight prudence on the part of the user. One such parameter is the signs available in the address bar of the URL’s being visited.Users must see Lock sign to confirm the security of the website while making any financial transactions.
