MTNL announces cheapest Broadband plans for 299 with 4 Mbps for Mumbai Residents

Mahanagar Telecom Nigam Limited (MTNL) brought good news to Mumbai residents with its much affordable broadband plans. In an attempt to attract more customers to MTNL, in a promotional offer, MTNL announces 2 new broadband plans of Rs. 299 and Rs. 399 in Mumbai.

Details of MTNL 299 rupee Broadband plan

  • Offers speeds upto 4Mbps till 10 GB
  • After consumption of 10 GB, speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps till 15 GB
  • Beyond 15 GB, speed will be reduced further to 1 Mbps.
  • Users have to choose the available voice calling plans if required.

  • Offers speeds upto 4Mbps till 10 GB
  • After consumption of 10 GB, speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps till 15 GB
  • Beyond 15 GB, speed will be reduced further to 1 Mbps.
  • Users have no choice to opt for the voice calls, each call will charged a flat Rs.1
  •  Users do not need to pay any rent for landline under this plan for voice calls

Note:

  • These plans are valid only for new customers joining MTNL network. Existing customers can’t avail these offers.
  • Consumers have to note that, It is the promotional offer and will be valid only for 90 days period, After that, MTNL revise the plan benefits or offer new plans based on the market scenario.

As mentioned earlier, these new unlimited broadband plans are limited to Mumbai residents. All the new users can enroll starting from April 15.

On the other hand, Bharat Sanchar Nigam limited (BSNL) also offers a similar broadband plan of Rs. 249, but the benefits are limited compared to MTNL. BSNL is providing unlimited calls and 10GB data per day with the download speed of 2 Mbps. Post the FUP; speed will be reduced to 1 Mbps. Also, the calls are limited to only 9 PM to 7 AM. All the calls on Sunday will be free.
