Why the Introducer is Liable for frauds committed by Bank Customer?
A person came to live in our locality and one of my friends became friends with him. While making friends nobody asks for ID Proof, Aadhar Number or previous proof of residence etc etc. After 5 to 7 years of friendship the person opened a bank account and my friend introduced him as a bank customer based upon his knowledge about his name and proof of residence. My friend came to know that the person shifted to our locality and was living with hidden and undisclosed real identity. The fact came to knowledge after the person committed fraud with the bank and bank filed FIR against my friend who introduced him. Why the Introducer is Liable for frauds committed by Bank Customer?
