Water is life on earth. By drinking water, we improve the functioning of our organs and help make our blood more fluid. This way we prevent the development of clots, which can cause heart attacks. Water is formed by two atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen, essential for the growth of every living being. The pure water is the healthiest drink for our body and essential for good hydration. Most of the people are continually dehydrated by not drinking water.

In its place, they prefer sugary soft drinks, without realizing the fact that when they are not drinking water, the body is naturally detoxified. The composition of our body is such that it contains up to 78% of water depending on the nature of each person. With the use of drinking water, our body helps in decreasing the thickness of the blood, thus reducing the development of clots in the blood, which are the ones that cause the heart attacks.

For this and much more, it is very much necessary for us to drink enough water because by its use we restore the water content of our body, moisturize it and improve the conditions of our health. Therefore, you have to drink water. It is advisable to drink at least one glass of water every two hours to achieve natural detoxification. It is suggested that water consumption in women should be 2.7 liters per day and 3.7 liters for men.

Nursing mothers and pregnant women are advised to try to drink up to three liters of water every day. It is because this helps them to stay well hydrated and also have more milk to breastfeed the infants. Water is a natural source of drink without calories and is necessary for the healthy development of life. Water helps to cleanse our body parts like skin, kidneys, etc. It is a good practice to have the habit of drinking enough water.

It is also important to eat healthy foods that have high water content instead of drinking hot beverages like tea and coffee or juice, and lemonade. Avoid using sugar as much as possible. The body expels water in different forms including sweat or steam by exhalation of breath. A sick person loses more liquids and that is why you need to drink more water. Water is essential for sportspersons since sweating is one of the ways of water loss.
